Knitted dress with Aran pattern
size: 40/42;
Bust circumference:92-96 cm;
Necessary materials:
1300 g blue-grey yarn no. 9 Alpina Margo (100% merino wool, 50g/75m);
Andrele no. 4;
Knit density: 25 stitches x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Knitting explanation:
Front/Back: cast on Andrea 122 stitches and knit 2cm = 6 rows elastic 2 x 2 (2 front stitches, 2 purl stitches).
It will continue with the knitting of the model according to the scheme.
After 75 cm = 225 rows knit with the aran pattern, for cutting the sleeves, close from both sides in every 2nd row 1 x 4 stitches, 1 x 3 stitches, 1 x 2 stitches and 3 x 1 stitch.
It will continue knitting without subtractions. After 18cm = 54 rows from the neckline of the sleeves, are closed for each shoulder by 30 stitches. The remaining stitches are left on a helpful needle.
Sleeve: Mount on needle 56 stitches and knit 2 cm = 6 rows elastic 2 x 2 (2 front stitches, 2 purl stitches). It will continue with the knitting of the model according to the scheme.
Every 7th row, add 1 eye from both sides.
After 44 cm = 132 knitted rows with the aran pattern, they close from both sides, in every 2nd row 1 x 4 stitches, 1 x 3 stitches, 1 x 2 stitches, every 4th row 11 x 1 stitch, in every 2nd row 2 x 1 stitch and 3 x 1 stitch.
After 62 cm = 186 knitted rows with the aran pattern are closed all the remaining stitches.
finishing: Side seams and seams on the shoulder line are performed.
The 76 stitches left on the helpful needle for the front side, respectively for the back are passed on the working knitting needles and knit with the aran pattern according to the scheme.
After 7 cm = 21 knitted rows will knit elastic 2 x 2.
After 2 cm = 6 knit rows with elastic 2 x 2, all eyes close. The side seam of the collar and the seams of the sleeves are made.
