Beret for girls

Beret for girls

Age: Six years;
Necessary materials:
100 g for gri (merino and polyamide);
Andre no. 3.5 and no. 4.5;

Knitting explanation:

The beret will be knitted in the round.
On Andre no. 3.5 cast on 100 stitches. The eyes close in a circle.
Knit 10 rows with elastic 1 x 1 (1 eye in front, 1 back eye).
Next, it will be knitted with needles no. 4.5.
Knit 1 row with all the front stitches. For the formation of the pleats, we divide the number of stitches by 10 (one purl = 10 stitches).

Then, 9 stitches will be knitted in front, add 1 stitch from the yarn between two stitches, knit in front of the 10th stitch = 11 stitches/ clin. The other clints will also be knitted in this way.
Next is a circular row with all the front stitches, without adding stitches.
Next, one row with additions of stitches and one without additions will be knitted, until a chain has 18 stitches.
Knit 4 rows without adding stitches.

In the next row, stitches will be decreased, symmetrical with the added ones. 1 stitch will be decreased in each stitch.
Knit 1 row with decreases and one without decreases, until there are 10 stitches left on Andrea.
Further, stitches are decreased in each row, until Andrea will have 4 stitches.
The 4 remaining stitches will be knitted with cord 'i-cord' 4-5 more rows, depending on how long we want the top of the beret to be. Eyes close.

The working thread is cut and fixed on the wrong side of the work.
