Hat with double twists
Cranial circumference: 50-54 cm;
Necessary materials:
100 g for Alize Angora Gold (550m/100 g);
Andre no. 4 and no. 4.5;
Knitting explanation:
The hat will be knitted with circular rows from the bottom up, the wire is placed in 3.
On Andre no. 4 cast on 96 stitches. The stitches are closed in a circle and knit 12 rows (5-6 cm) cu elastic 2 x 2 (2 front stitches, 2 purl stitches).
In the next row, in each group consisting of 2 front stitches, add 1 front stitch from the thread between 2 stitches = 120 stitches.
Next, it will be knitted with needle no. 4.5 as follows: (18 stitches report presented in the scheme, 2 purl stitches) x 6.
Rows 1 to 8 of the model shown in diagram no.1 are repeated 4 times.
After 18-19 cm from the first row, from the 2nd row of the scheme no.. 2 will be achieved decreases of stitches.
In scheme no. 2, the empty square signifies missing eyes. This stitch will not be taken into account when knitting the pattern.
The stitches will be subtracted from the group of stitches that are placed after the work, when cross-stitching is carried out.
After knitting the last row of the scheme no. 2 on needle will remain 24 stitches.
The working thread is cut, leaving a longer end. The end of the thread is passed through the 24 remaining stitches. The working thread is tightened and fixed on the back side of the work.
At the top of the hat you can also fix a pompon made of fur.
