Knitting explanation:
The first detail will be knitted with yarn no. 8 and represents the front and the collar of the coat.
Cast on 39 stitches and knit the pattern presented in diagram no. 1.
A scarf with a width of 24 cm will be knitted. 16 rhombuses will be knitted lengthwise according to the scheme: 7 rhombuses for each front and 2 rhombuses for the collar. After knitting rhombus 16, stitches are closed.
The stitches on the right edge of the scarf are divided as follows:
62 stitches for the front (1 marker is fixed), 36 stitches sleeve (1 marker is fixed), 44 stitches for the back(1 marker is fixed), 36 stitches sleeve (1 marker is fixed), 62 stitches for the front .
The back side: On needle no. 6.5, cast on 72 stitches and knit 10 rows of elastic 1 x 2 ( 1 front eye, 2 purl stitches).
Next, it will be knitted with needle no. 8.5 with jersey point.
After 22 cm knit from the first row, in the next row facing , it will be knitted in the following way: 3 front stitches, 2 stitches together face to the left, all front stitches up to the last 5, 2 stitches together front to right, 3 front stitches. This decrease in stitches will be repeated 5 times in every 6th row = 60 stitches.
After 40 cm knit from the first row, in the next row facing, it will be knitted in the following way: 3 front stitches, add 1 stitch between 2 stitches, all front stitches up to the last 3, add 1 stitch between 2 stitches, 3 front stitches. This addition of stitches will be repeated 3 more times in every 6th row = 68 stitches.
Next, knit 12 straight rows.
In the next row facing, for cutting the sleeves, 9 stitches from both sides are left on each auxiliary thread. There will be 50 stitches left on the working needle. In continue, in every 6th row, 1 stitch is added from both sides after the first 3 stitches and before the last 3 stitches 5 times = 60 stitches.
Both details are placed face to face with the back side up.
The 60 stitches left on the working needle will be sewn onto the portion of the back of the scarf consisting of 44 stitches, like this: the first 18 stitches of the working needle are sewn with the first 18 stitches of the back of the scarf, the same is done with the last 18 stitches on the working row.
There are 24 stitches left on the working needle, which will be processed as follows: after the first 4 stitches, attach 1 marker, after the next 4 stitches, 1 more marker, after the next 8 stitches, attach 1 more marker, after the next 4 stitches, attach 1 more marker.
The fold will be formed in the following way: The 8 stitches on the working needle remain on the center, the next 4 stitches on both sides are folded after the first 8 stitches. “Pockets” form is placed on the last 4 remaining stitches on both sides.
The detail thus formed is sewn to the 8 stitches left free on the center of the back of the scarf.
Next, the edges of the back part will be sewn to the edges of the scarf for each front part in the following way: The detail is turned on the front side. The free ends of the scarf are passed side by side. Each portion of the scarf consisting of 62 stitches is sewn to the corresponding edge of the back.
The sleeves are knitted as follows: From the edge of the scarf intended for the sleeve, it is mounted on andre no. 6.5 – 36 stitches, 9 more stitches are added on the auxiliary band and 15 stitches on the edge of the back = 57 stitches. The stitches are closed in a circle and knit 15 rows of elastic 1×2 (1 front eye, 2 purl stitches). In the next row, all eyes close.
The second sleeve will be knitted in the same way.
