An ideal hat for skiing or for walks in the middle of winter.
Cranial circumference: 50-58 cm;
Length: 20 cm;
Necessary materials:
50 g for Impact Phildar;
Andrele no. 3.5 and no. 4;
2 highlight.
Knit density: 23 stitches x 29 rows = 10×10 cm.
Knitting explanation:
The hat will be knitted in the round.
100 stitches are mounted on needle no. 3.5. The eyes close in a circle, after the second stitch, 1 marker is fixed, and knit 1 row with all purl stitches.
Among 2 first 2 stitches are knit 1 knit stitch, 1 back eye, the following 29 stitches after the marker are knit according to the scheme, the 2nd marker is fixed, the other stitches are knit elastic 1 x 1 (1 knit stitch, 1 back eye).
Row 9 will knit with knitting needles no.4. All stitches knitted with elastic 1×1 will knit further purl stitches.
In row 11 will be added 2 stitches according to the model shown in the scheme = 102 stitches. Added stitches will knit according to the scheme.
Starting with row 56, the top of the hat will be made, by decreases of meshes. Knit 5 purl stitches, move the first marker, is knit according to the scheme, Purl 3 stitches, the 2nd marker is fixed. The other stitches are knit * 2 stitches together back, 1 back eye* until the beginning of row 57 of the scheme.
In rows 57-58 the decreases of stitches will be made inside the scheme, the other stitches are knit backside.
In row 59 will knit according to the scheme, the other stitches are knit as 2 stitches together back.
In rows 60-61 the decreases of stitches will be made inside the scheme, the other stitches are knit backside.
In row 62 will knit according to the scheme, the other stitches are knit as 2 stitches together back.
In row 63 will be achieved the last decrease in the scheme, the other stitches are knit as purl stitches.
In row 64 all stitches are knit as 2 stitches together dos = 7 stitches.
The working thread is cut, leaving a longer end. The end of the thread is passed through the 7 remaining stitches. The thread is tightened and fixed on the back side of the work.
