Motanul velis knitted sweatersize: 98-104/110-116/122-128;
Necessary materials:
300/300/350 for alb Schachenmayr Punto (55% cotton, 45% polyacryl, 50 g/90m);
50 g of gray yarn each, black, roz;
needles nr.4.

Knit density:19 stitches x 29 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

The Motan model will be knitted according to the pattern with jersey stitch and rice stitch. Rows 1-85 will be knitted once.

How to knit a sweater:
Both sweaters are knitted the same way, except for the color of the yarn with which the cat is knitted. I will present the description for the gray mottled sweater, the one for boys.
Spate: It is mounted on Andrea with white thread 62/70/78 and knit 4 rows of lazy stitch, after which it will continue with jersey stitch.
After 25.5/27/29 cm from the first row, to cut the sleeves, close 2 stitches on both sides and in each 2nd row 2 x 1 stitch = 54/62/70 mesh.

After 37.5/41/45 cm from the first row, for the neckline, close 16/16/20 stitches from the center, each part to be knitted separately.
In every 2nd row, from the neckline, close 1 x 3 stitches and 1 x 2 stitches.
After 39.5/43/47 cm from the first row, close the remaining 14/18/20 stitches for the shoulder.

Face: It is mounted on Andrea 16/20/24 stitches with white thread, 30 stitches with gray thread, 16/20/24 stitches with white thread and knit 4 rows with lazy stitch with the corresponding thread, after which it will continue with jersey stitch. The motan will be knitted according to the scheme.
After row 85, the last row of the motan pattern all stitches will be knitted with white thread.

Sleeve: Cast on Andrea 44/48/48 stitches with white thread and knit 4 rows of lazy stitch.
Then continue with jersey stitch.
In every 12th/10th/8th row, 6 x 1 stitches/8 x 1 stitches/11 x 1 stitches will be added from both sides = 56/64/70 stitches.
After 28/31/35 cm from the first row, close 2 stitches on both sides and in every 2nd row 2 x 1 stitch = 48/56/62 stitches.
After 30/33/37 cm from the first row, close the remaining 48/56/62 stitches.

finishing: The seams of the sweater are made. On the side edges, do not sew 6 cm from the bottom, for openings.
74/78/84 stitches are cast on from the edge of the neckline. The stitches are closed in a circle and knit 6 rows of lazy stitch, after which they close.
With the help of the needle and black thread, sew on the contour of the motan with the chain stitch. In the same way, sew the outline of the mouth and the whiskers.
The eyes can also be sewn, or they can be crocheted and then sewn.
