Vintage openwork jacket
size: 38/40 (42/44)
Necessary materials:
350 (400) fir gray Lana Grossa IBIZA UNI (70% cotton, 30% polyamide, 95 m/50 g);
Andrele no. 6;
Circular thread no. 6, length 100 cm;
Crochet no. 4.5;
A transparent staple with a diameter of 25 mm;
Knit density: 13 stitches x 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
The openwork model: It will be knitted according to the scheme. The front rows are shown in the diagram. In the back rows, stitches and jets are knitted as purl stitches.
Knitting explanation:
The jacket will be knitted from one sleeve to the other. The arrow on the pattern indicates the knitting direction. Knitting the jacket will start with the left sleeve.
Cast on 53 stitches and knit with lazy stitch 8 cm or 26 rows, jacket elastic. Then the openwork pattern will be knitted in the following way: start with the edge stitch up to arrow a, the ratio formed by 8 stitches between arrows a and b is repeated 5 times, finish the row with the 12 stitches after arrow b.
Rows 1-8 will be knitted 5 times = 40 rows, After which, starting with row 41, it will be knitted according to the scheme.
To round the sleeves, 5 stitches will be added from both sides starting from row 43 to row 55, as shown in the diagram = 63 stitches.
After row 56, from the right edge it will be knitted according to the scheme, between arrows d and e, the report repeating itself as many times as before.
Further, for the front and back parts it will be knitted straight, repeating lines 57-63.
After 14,5 (18,5) cm = in row 32 (40), back rows, from the beginning of the front and back parts, they will close from the left 67 (75) mesh of the front part. On the 66 (74) the remaining stitches will knit the openwork pattern 14 cm = 32 straight rows.
Then, from the left, they will be mounted again on Andrea 67 (75) stitches for the right front side and will knit the symmetrical detail to the end, making instead of additions of stitches, decreases.
After the last row of the openwork pattern, knit 8 cm elastic with lazy stitch, then the eyes close.
The seams of the jacket details are made.
With crochet hook no. 4,5 the bottom edge of the jacket will be finished with 1 row of connecting legs.
On the circular rings no. 6, from the vertical edge, 70 are mounted on the andrea (78) stitches and from the edge of the neckline on the back = 30 stitches = 170 (186) mesh.
Rows will be knitted back and forth, in row 2, 4 stitches will be added between 2 stitches at equal distances. These stitch additions will be made in every 2nd row 2 more times = 182 (198) mesh.
After 8 cm knit = 26 rows from the beginning of the elastic, stitches are closed.
The staple will be fixed at a distance of 1 cm from the collar down, so that the jacket ends from right to left.
