Gray bolero with twists
Necessary materials:
170 g for Orlis (100% acrylic, 200m/100g);
Andrele no. 7;
1 button.
Knitting explanations:
The twist on each detail will cross in row 7.
Front left side: Cast on 31 stitches and knit 11 rows of elastic 1×1. Then, the stitches are divided as follows: 1 edge stitch, 4 front stitches, Purl 3 stitches, 8 twisted stitches, Purl 3 stitches, 11 stitches face, 1 edge stitch.
Knit 2 rows.
Then, from the right in every 2nd row (front row) will decrease 9x 1 eye, knitting 2 stitches together front after the edge eye and every 4th row 8×1 eye.
For the neckline of the sleeve, from the left will close 4 stitches, approximately after 18 rows from the beginning of the torsade model (the closure will coincide with the crossing of the torsade).
After 31.5 cm from the first row the 11 stitches (1 edge stitch, Purl 3 stitches, 6 stitches face, 1 edge stitch) remaining are closed.
On the left front cross stitches for torsade was done 3 times (once to the left, then to the right, then to the left).
The right front side will be knitted symmetrically. In the 4th row a lock will be made (close 4 stitches and in the next row are mounted again on needle).
Spate: mount on needle 64 stitches and knit elastic 1×1 11 rows. Then, the stitches are divided as follows: 1 edge stitch, 12 stitches face, Purl 3 stitches, 8 stitches torsade pattern, Purl 3 stitches, 10 stitches face, Purl 3 stitches, 8 twisted stitches, Purl 3 stitches, 12 stitches face, 1 edge stitch.
It will knit straight up to the neckline sleeves, crossing the torsades 3 times.
After 11, 5 cm from the first row, the sleeves will be cut, will close from both sides by 4 stitches.
After 56 knitted rows (29.5 cm), for neckline are closed 18 stitches from the center, each part will be knitted separately.
In every 2nd row, from the neckline will close 2×3 stitches and 1 x 2 stitches.
Knit as another 4 rows, then the remaining stitches are closed.
Sleeve: Mount on needle 42 stitches and knit 2 rows purl stitches. Then the stitches are divided in the following way: 1 edge stitch, 9 purl stitches, 4 front stitches, Purl 3 stitches, 8 stitches torsade pattern, Purl 3 stitches, 4 front stitches, 9 purl stitches, 1 edge stitch. Knit straight 2 cm, after which they are subtracted from both sides each to the 4th row 3×1 eye and every 2nd row 2×1 eye.
In the next row the front closes from both sides 1×2 stitches.
Knit 1 back row, and in the next row the stitches are closed.
finishing: Sew the details of the bolero.
Knit a band from 4-5 stitches. The tape will knit jersey point. Knitted tape will accurately sew on the inner edges of the front parts and neckline.
The edges can also be finished with the help of the I-cord technique.
The button is sewn.
