Accessorizing knitted clothes

Accesorizarea hainutelor tricotateWhat can be more beautiful for a child than a piece of clothing accessorized with the beloved cartoon character? Nothing easier. We need a scheme and start knitting using threads of several colors. What do we do when the garment is ready knitted and at the last moment we want to change its look a little? The problem is as if solved. We sew the desired accessory and, in addition, we can position it on the garment wherever we want. The accessory will look like knitting. I present in this article how to do this. As an example I will take sewing a flower.

Model 'Rococo'

It is usually used for sewing the stamens of a flower or stem.

The stitching is carried out on the front of the knitwear. The needle is inserted diagonally into the center of the eye where we begin the seam. Wrap the thread several times on the tip of the needle. The wrapped thread is held with the thumb of the left hand. With the other hand pass the needle through the wrapped thread, After which the needle is passed through the same point where we started sewing the stamena and hardens on the back of the knitwear (See figure no. 1).

The 'eye to eye' model.

For sewing half an eye is insert the needle horizontally, from right to left, and remove under both legs of the knitted eye. For sewing the other half of the eye, insert needle vertically, from right to left and remove in the center of the next eye. (See figure no.2 and 3).

Model 'chain'.

It is usually used when finishing the sewn accessory. It is done on the knitted face. The needle with thread being inserted a little below the stitched meshes. From the point where the needle was inserted, an eye is formed from the thread. The thread is pulled until the size of the eye is equal to that of the stitched one. The needle is inserted into the point where we started sewing the necklace eye and is removed at the end of the formed necklace eye. The procedure is repeated until we finish the edges of the flower. (see figure no.4).
