Knitted dress

Age: 2 years
The necessary materials:
– 200 g of white cotton threads of medium thickness, 30 g of red cotton yarn and 30 g of purple cotton yarn of medium thickness;
– 3 white buttons;
– Andre no. 4.
The bata is knitted according to scheme no. 1. The back and front are knitted in stockinette stitch (a row girl, one back).
The flower model is presented in diagram no. 2.
Braid density: 10 cm x 10 cm = 20 stitches x 25 rows.

Description of the work:

The back side: It is mounted on knitting needles 98 stitches of white thread and knit 12 rows according to the scheme. 2 rows we knit them with purple thread. First purple color is subtracted 8 stitches at equal distance (we remain with 90 stitches). After, knit 2 rows of white color and 2 rows of red color.
We continue to trciotam with the white thread, Every 4th row from both sides one eye is subtracted. The procedure is repeated 14 times. (90-(14*2)=62 stitches).

At a distance of 35 cm, for the neckline of the clasp, end 4 stitches from the middle of the braid, following that each part to knit to the end separately.
For the neckline sleeve of both sides at every 2nd row ends 2 times by 3 stitches and 2 times by 2 stitches.
At a distance of 49 cm ends 8 stitches for each shoulder and on a helpful needle from both sides are taken by 11 stitches.

Front side: Mount on knitting needles 98 stitches of white thread and knit 12 rows according to the scheme. 2 rows we knit them with purple thread. First purple color is subtracted 8 stitches at equal distance (we remain with 90 stitches). After, knit 2 rows of white color and 2 rows of red color. We continue to knit with white thread, Every 4th row from both sides one eye is subtracted. The procedure is repeated 14 times. (90-(14*2)=62 stitches).
After 10 knitted rows from the red stripe knit the flowers according to the scheme no. 2, allocating them to the center.
Continue knitting with white thread. At a distance of 35 cm from the beginning of the work, for the neckline sleeves end from both sides 4 stitches, every second row ends 3 stitches, then 2 stitches and at the end by 1 stitch.
At a distance of 43 cm, the neckline is executed in the following way: 8 stitches from the center ends. Each part is executed separately. Secondly, from the side next to the 8 central stitches, ending 4 stitches, then 2 times by 2 stitches, and 2 times 1 eye.
At a distance of 49 cm from inc braiding ends by 8 stitches for each shoulder.

finishing: Sew the parts that form the hangers of the dress. It is mounted on the needle with purple thread 62 stitches on the edge of the neckline, it includes and stitches on the helpful needle and knit two front rows after which the work ends.
From the edge of the neckline sleeve is mounted on knitting needles 61 stitches of red color and knit 2 front rows after which the work ends. Do the same for the second sleeve.
From the edge of the clasp is mounted on needle 40 stitches, knit 4 front rows and end the work. The right side is made 3 locks for buttons, the first located 3 cm from the bottom edge, the third to 1cm from the top edge and the second between them.
Buttons are sewn.

Use: Flowers in the scheme no. 2 can be very easily sewn. I will present you in the next article how to execute different patterns of stitches on knitted items.
